Maya Miller graduated from University of California San Diego in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She received her J.D. degree in 2010 from California Western School of Law, graduating magna cum laude.
While in law school Ms. Miller received Academic Achievement Awards in Trial Practice and Professional Responsibility/Negotiations. Moreover, Ms. Miller tutored first year law students, helping them improve their knowledge of first year subjects.
In 2010, Ms. Miller was admitted to the California Bar. Ms. Miller is Co-Chair Elect of the Elder Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association as well as a member of the Trust and Estates Committee of the State Bar of California Trust and Estates Section.
