California court strikes down nursing home law
A California judge has ruled a law that allows nursing homes to make treatment decisions for mentally incompetent residents is unconstitutional. The law has been in place for more than 20 years. U.S. Supreme Court grants constitutional right to same-sex marriage
In a historic victory for gay rights, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Friday that gays and lesbians have the constitutional right to marry their chosen partner.
